Edora

The operating system for schools.

Edora is a modular software suite for CBSE, ICSE, IB and Tamil-medium schools. Start with the admin module that runs your day-to-day operations, and add more modules only when you need them.

The problem

Running a school is heavier than it should be

  1. 01

Teachers spend more time on paperwork than teaching

Attendance, marks entry, report cards, fee follow-ups, circulars, timetable changes — most of it is still done by hand or across disconnected spreadsheets. That time comes out of the classroom.

  2. 02

Operating costs keep climbing with no clear return

Schools pay for multiple overlapping tools — one for fees, another for communication, another for records — plus the staff hours to keep them in sync. Fixed licences are charged whether a feature is used or not.

  3. 03

Students have little access to activities beyond academics

Sports, arts, clubs and other extracurricular options are limited, informally tracked, or simply unavailable — so students rarely get a structured way to discover and pursue interests outside the syllabus.

The product

One suite. Plug in only what you need.

Edora is not a single product. It is a connected set of modules that share the same data and interface. A school activates the modules it wants and pays only for the ones that are active — there is no baseline fee for modules you don't use. New modules can be switched on later without migrating to a different system.

Available now

School Admin & ERP — available now

The first module replaces manual administrative work: student records, admissions, attendance, fees, timetables and school-wide communication in one place. This is where most schools start with Edora.

Coming later

Assessment & Evaluation engine — coming later

A module to help generate questions and support evaluation. It is in development and not part of the current pilot. We will share more as it moves toward release.

Coming later

Extracurricular Discovery — coming later

A module to help students find and track activities beyond academics. Also in development and not part of the current pilot.

Why Edora

Why Edora is different

You pay for what's active, nothing else

Pricing is usage-based and modular — think of it as plugging in the tools you need, when you need them, instead of buying one heavy all-or-nothing package.

The guarantee

Free data migration — in and out, guaranteed

We migrate your existing data into Edora at no cost. And if you ever decide to leave, we give you all your data back, in a usable format, for free. No lock-in, no hostage data, no exit fee.

Software that feels clean, not cluttered

Most school ERPs are crowded and hard to use. Edora is built to be uncluttered and quick for teachers and admin staff to actually work in every day.

Bootstrapped and schools-first

We are a bootstrapped company focused on schools — not a generic enterprise SaaS platform adapted to education. Our roadmap is set by what schools need.

Who it's for

Who Edora is for

CBSE ICSE IB Tamil-medium

Edora is built first for CBSE, ICSE, IB and Tamil-medium schools.

We are starting focused rather than broad. Support for state boards and for diaspora schools abroad is planned for later phases.

Pricing

Pricing

Pricing is usage-based: you pay for the modules you have active and the scale at which you use them.

We don't publish fixed price numbers yet — and here's why. We are in the pilot stage, and the right price depends on which modules a school turns on and how it uses them. Rather than post a number that won't fit your school, we finalize pricing together during your pilot conversation. No inflated list price, no pressure.

FAQ

Straight answers

Who owns the data we put into Edora?

Your school does. The data stays yours — we hold it to run your modules, nothing more. We don't sell it, and we don't use one school's data to build features for another.

What happens to our data if we leave?

You get all of it back, in a usable format, for free. Migrating out is part of the guarantee — no exit fee, no waiting period, no holding your records hostage to keep you.

What do pilot schools actually commit to?

A scoping conversation to decide which modules fit, onboarding the ERP module with your data, and honest feedback as you use it. Pricing is agreed with you before any paid use — there's no long lock-in contract to join the pilot.

Edora is currently in pilot with a small number of schools. We're taking on a limited set of additional pilot schools now. If that's you, tell us a little about your school and we'll be in touch.
